Born in Loulé, Jorge has a degree in Physical Education and Sport and is a Level II Trainer in Pure Swimming.
He has been training competition teams since 2004 at Louletano and Faro Swimming Club.

He currently works as a swimming trainer and triathlon trainer, among others related to sports.

He is the current coach of Faro Swimming Adapted Swimming athletes Ana Beatriz Correia and José Gabriel Vieira, both athletes holding several National records.

Another highlight is José Vieira’s World Records achieved during the 2018/2019 season under Jorge’s training. In addition to Adapted Swimming, he trains at Faro Swimming, the Pre Juniors and Master Levels for Adapted Swimming.
