Our Mission
To engage the relevant sports authorities regarding the correct classification for athletes with Paralympic Down Syndrome. Develop projects related to Adapted Swimming in the community, whether at school, in associations or sports clubs. To offer the opportunity so that all children can learn to swim which will enhance their physical, motor and social development.

Community Projects
SPECIAL 21
Special 21 aims to develop all sorts of projects that promote swimming among the disabled community, especially young people of school age. As the Portuguese education system welcomes students with special needs in schools, the development of Protocols or Program Contracts in conjunction with the Municipalities is at the moment a very effective way to introduce Swimming as a Discipline in Schools.
